Pastor Elijah and his wife, Suzanne, moved to Ithaca in 2020 with their four children—Abraham, Ezra, Anastasia, and Isaac. Drawn by the area’s natural beauty and cultural diversity, they quickly came to love calling Ithaca home.
Elijah’s passion is helping people see the richness of God’s Word. He enjoys bringing the Bible to life by exploring its cultural and literary background, making it clear and compelling for today. He studied at Baptist Bible College (B.A.) and Capital Bible Seminary (M.A.), and is currently pursuing a PhD at Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary.
Beyond his ministry in the church, Pastor Elijah serves on the board of Camp Lamoka, the camp ministry our church supports, and is a teacher and board member for the Northeast School of Theology and Ministry, the pastoral training arm of our Northeast Fellowship—a network of Independent Baptist churches.
