How to get to heaven
Believe these Biblical truths
- Admit that I am a sinner -- Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
- Understand the Consequences -- Romans 6:23a, "The wages of sin is death . . ." This means to be separated from God.
- Rejoice in the Gift -- Romans 6:23b, ". . . but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Christ died on the cross and shed His blood to pay the penalty of sin in full. He was buried for three days and nights. Then, suddenly, gloriously on that early Sunday morning, He arose triumphantly from the dead!
- I must ask Him to come into my life. Repentance is changing one’s mind. Whereas before we enjoyed our sins and rebelled against God. Now, we are sorry for our sins and invite Christ to come into our life. John 1:12, "But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God."
